We are swimming and gratitude and blessings to be able to offer you a fun and interactive way to give this season with our Giving Tree Project.

Because so many of you donated your services, time, goods and more, we have an amazing tree filled with 31 abundant and generous prizes (most of them packages, there were so many…) Simply purchase a raffle ticket at the Shop (as many as you want, and you can buy for friends too) in either Pink for $10 or Orange for $20, depending on the level of prize you want to win. Each day in December we will draw a name from the entries and give stuff away!

All the proceeds from our December giving extravaganza will go straight to Impact NW (www.impactnw.com), a Portland-based direct services organization that helps lift folks out of poverty with immediate-needs assistance, parenting programs, and school supplies for children. Please give generously to the Giving Tree this season by buying lots of tickets, and go home with some spectacular booty for yourself or as a great gift for a loved one.

You know those advent calendars that you open each day on the countdown to Christmas Day, and each one has a little chocolate or prize inside? Well, in an effort to raise some awareness and much needed funds for our community, we are making our own Bhaktishop advent calendar-- The Giving Tree! All the proceeds from this sort of raffle/silent auction/prize bonanza will go to Impact Northwest, and organization with a mission to help people achieve and maintain self-sufficiency and to prevent and alleviate the effects of poverty. They give immediate and direct services like energy assistance to the elderly, food supplies for hungry families, and clothing, school supplies, and toys for children. The tree is up and ready for you to start to see the stuff we get to give away for the sake of sharing the wealth with the less fortunate. On the tree are some totally amazing prizes and unimaginable awesomeness that you get to be entered into a drawing for, simply by purchasing lottery tickets for either $10 or $20 dollars. You can buy as many tickets as you want, and can buy tickets for friends too, entering them into the drawing. A great way to earn prizes that you can give away as gifts to friends and loved ones too, all for charity! Each day in December we will draw a ticket and contact the winner of that day's prize so we can all jump up and down with excitement over your newly-won booty, and know you are extending a helpful, compassionate hand in exchange.

Our offerings range from meals at yummy local restaurants, free class passes and T-shirts from the Bhaktishop, amazing local spa services, Acupuncture treatments, free yoga private classes, handmade jewelry, shopping sprees, and so much more. All goods and services have been donated by our loving family of students, teachers and neighbors to make this thing a success. Please see the prize list below for some enticing…
