Please register for workshops early, as they will often sell out. Please do join us, stretching outside your regular yoga practice to invite in new energies and possibilities to the soul of your yoga.

Guru Purnima Practice With Lisa Mae |
Join us as we celebrate the teacher everywhere in our annual Guru Purnima celebration. Please bring an item for the altar signifying the guru or teacher you are celebrating, and practice in an open format with other seekers in any way you like—we will chant and sit in meditation together, and leave time in between for you to bow down to all teachers everywhere in your own practice. Doors open at 4am. An amazing way to bring to life an age-old tradition with your yoga family.

Moving Through Trauma with Love and Stillness—How Yoga Can Help You Release Past Hurts (and Get On with Living Fully Right Now) with Mark Lilly, Lisa Mae and Diana |
Co-taught by Street Yoga Founder and hometown hero Mark Lilly, with Lisa Mae and Diana, this workshop is for adults who are enduring any of the effects of any form of trauma, whether recent or old, psychic or physical, spiritual or emotional. Maybe it manifests as body pain, chronic low-energy or some other unhealthy fallout from past severe experiences; this workshop can help. By cultivating a loving stillness, we can learn to listen to our body, and find the places where we hold the pain and loss of trauma. Using yoga, guided meditation, and chanting, we will learn more about the patterns of old traumas still affecting us, and the ways in which we hold on to pain. Join us as we learn to shake ourselves loose from the tyranny of old pains and step with love into our beautiful lives!

About Dennis
He is one of four foundational people who have brought the great teachers of Vedic Astrology to the West, having co-sponsored the International Symposiums on Vedic Astrology since the early 1990s with Dennis Harness, David Frawely and James Kelleher. These historic symposiums featured the teachings of such illustrious Vedic astrologers as B.V. Raman, Bepin Behari, James Braha, Dr. K.S. Charak, Narendra Desai, Chakrapani Ullal and many others.
Dennis holds degrees in English and Sociology from the University of Massachusetts. In the last decade he has been recognized by his peers with the following honors. He is one of six original recipients of the esteemed Jyotish Kovid (1994) title and Jyotish Vachaspati (1996) title awarded by the late B.V. Raman, the modern Grand Father of Vedic Astrology, through the Indian Council of Astrological Sciences. He was further awarded the Jyotish Navaratna title (2005) by the American College of Vedic Astrology for his outstanding service in the field of Vedic Astrology. Dennis is one of eight original founding board members of the American Council of Vedic Astrology (ACVA) in 1993 and one of the original six founding members of the American College of Vedic Astrology. He has served four terms as President of the Washington State Astrological Association (WSAA) and four terms on the board of The Association for Astrological Networking (AFAN), and, was the first elected President Emeritus of the Council of Vedic Astrologers.
