the bhaktishop

The Bhaktishop Grad School 500!

Our 500-hour Yoga Alliance approved program is a sweet spot for you to continue onward, enrich yourself and grow even more from your already completed 200-hour program. Led by Lisa Mae, our other Yoga School teachers, and our cast of wonderful visiting teachers including our Laughing Lotus friends Dana and Jasmine, Emily Soiney P.T., Nancy Schneider, Swami B.V. Tripurari and more, we aim to offer a place where talented teachers can dialogue with each other, share the seat of the teacher, and gain experience and mentorship opportunities that we might not get otherwise.

Building a community of teachers that are mutually supportive of one another, maintaining standards of continuing study, opening doors of creative possibility, and creating a web of interconnected teaching that crosses boundary and style, at The Bhaktishop we are here to support you in your continuing journey. Come join us in shared commitment and stay centered on what unites us as students and teachers of yoga. Invest in your studentship to further your own teaching!

This 300-hour add-on program is designed to be taken in portions of 50-75 hours at a time, and has no real endpoint, since yoga study is an endless and fascinating journey. It is intended for those already teaching or that have completed a 200-hour program, though it does not have to have been here at The Bhaktishop. You can apply to begin at anytime, for there is something being offered each and every season.

Please see the requirements for the program at the bottom of the page in the “fine print” section.

For any of you 200-hour RYT’s that are seeking a 500, please fill out an application form that you can collect from The Bhaktishop (or email us and we will send you one) and return it to us to get started on the path to the 500. Once we receive this application form, you can then pick up a log sheet and packet that you will be responsible for bringing to each class, recording your hours as you go. This will ensure that when you cross the 300 hour finish line, all your details are organized! You can start the program at anytime, and if you have questions about how to get going, please email lisamaema@thebhaktishop.com.

Many of these courses are also open to teachers and continuing students that just want to take them individually and not take part in the 500. For any of you that are just taking parts of the program to deepen your own practice, please sign up in advance for the workshops, immersions, and electives you wish to take so that we can plan on your attendance!

Thank you all for helping to make this program such a challenge, as well as a place for us to all learn, grow, and expand together. Contact Lisa Mae at lisamaema@thebhaktishop.com for any further details.
