The foundation for this series is Yoga and Ayurveda, the union of two ancient traditions both rooted in the teachings of wise sages from thousands of years past. According to Ayurveda, each individual has his or her own unique constitution under which they are born, however due to lifestyle choices/changes, environmental conditions and psychological influences, our balanced state often becomes compromised. Through deeply endeavoring to understand ourselves and our choices, we are empowered to heal ourselves and learn to maintain balance in both mind and body. Working on seasonal and time of day appropriate practices that include Trataka (candle-gazing meditation), Pranayama (specific breathwork), Meditation and Yoga Asana, practitioners will refine their daily practices specific to their own needs in the warmth and support of The Bhaktishop community. All levels are welcome!
