June Yoga Therapy Series with Ali: Your Hips and Pelvis

Three Wednesdays from 7-8:30pm June 3, 10 and 17

$35 for all three sessions ($25 for MAP Members)

Spend three Wednesday evenings learning the many movements of the hip/pelvis (Hip hip hooray!) All levels are encouraged to come to this illuminating workshop to learn and understand in a practical and progressive way the health of the hips and pelvis. If you are new, injured, or a seasoned practitioner, you will benefit from this series! Please keep in mind that these are not drop-in classes, but a whole progressive series. Plan to come to them all to get the most benefit!

June 3: Learn about true hip flexion and how this creates even energy and tone in the pelvic floor and lower back, and work with therapeutic techniques to make this adaptive and healing for your hips and pelvis.
June 10: Understand sacral and SI Joint issues using imagery that will allow for more easeful movements in the spine and hips.
June 17: Learn practical, healthy rotation of your femurs to promote healthy range of movement in your hips, both in asana and in your everyday life.

(300 Hour students: 4.5 Anatomy credits)
