Yoga and Pregnancy do in fact go hand in hand. The physical and mental benefits of yoga are particularly helpful to the pregnant woman on her journey through pregnancy, birth and motherhood, and this workshop is designed to de-mystify the process and remove the fear that is sometimes associated with pregnant women in public classes. In this 10-hour Prenatal yoga primer, we will endeavor to take the worry out of teaching a pregnant student and supply you with the basics to be safe and helpful in your teaching. We will cover some basic "Do's and Don't’s, " strengths and weaknesses in the pregnant body, and some helpful modifications to well known poses. Open to 200-hour level teachers and higher.
