Intermediate Asana Teaching Intensive with Monicka Koneski and Britt Rhoden

4 weeks: March 19- April 11, Tu/Th mornings, 6:15-8am

$140 full series

As teachers both new and experienced we most often find ourselves teaching to a wide array of students with varied experience levels and diverse physical capacities. This 4-week immersion is focused around honing the skills necessary to better teach these mixed-level, intermediate classes.  Monicka and Britt share their many years of insights, movement theory techniques, creative prop use, modifications, functional strength tricks and extra challenges to provide you with the tools to increase your fluency and capacity and better serve everyone in the room. Each week will focus on a different pose category, honing in on essential actions, specific shape modifications, strengthening work and potential therapeutic interventions.

It is possible to share asana in a setting where everyone feels cared for, supported, challenged, and aware of their own uniqueness so that they are better able to make positive, sophisticated choices for their practice, with your guidance.  Up-level your asana teaching in this series that is sure to make changes in your classroom presence, vision, and capability. All teachers at any stage of development and experience (and serious body nerds) are welcome!
