Sunday-Wednesday Feb. 21-24, 2016
Are you a writer, or do you aspire to express yourself on paper? Do you love yoga, and want to blend your loves together in a place where you will have ample time and open space to do so? In this creative hybrid workshop, we'll explore vulnerability on the page and the mat, sparking connections to both readers and to our most authentic self. These forms of practice are process-oriented: both yoga and writing require centering, warm-up, repetition, and consistent refinement. Drawing inspiration from our own stories, we'll draft and share some of our own writing, opening to the subtle creative gifts that come during deep rest. Using creative vows and ritual, create the discipline to enhance and sustain both your writing and yoga practices beyond the workshop setting. Open to writers and yoga practitioners of any level of experience with either subject.
